Refunds and cancellations

Last updated: 30 July 2026. These terms apply to paid engagements with DevData Sphere such as Customer Behavior Audits, Event Taxonomy Workshops, Journey Mapping Engagements, and Retention Cohort Reviews.

Eligibility overview

Refunds depend on how much scheduled work has started, whether a deposit reserved calendar time, and whether deliverables or workshop sessions have already been provided. Software products and physical goods are not sold on this site and are not covered here.

Deposits

A deposit that reserves analyst calendar time is generally non-refundable within fourteen days of the agreed start date, because that slot cannot easily be refilled. Deposits paid more than fourteen days before start may be refunded minus a ten-percent administrative fee if you cancel in writing and no kickoff work has begun.

Full refund

A full refund of amounts paid is available if we cancel the engagement for reasons within our control and no equivalent reschedule is mutually agreed. A full refund also applies if you cancel in writing before we have accessed your data or held a kickoff, and outside the deposit window described above.

Partial refund

If you cancel after kickoff or after analysis has begun, we may refund the unused portion of the fee after deducting time already spent at the rates implied by the statement of work, and after retaining any non-refundable deposit. Workshop fees are not refunded for sessions already delivered.

Non-refundable items

  • Completed written packs, maps, taxonomy drafts, and briefings already delivered
  • Facilitated workshop hours already held
  • Agreed travel expenses already incurred for on-site kickoff
  • Third-party costs you authorised in writing

Timeframe to request a refund

Send refund requests within thirty days of the cancellation date or of the invoice you dispute, whichever is earlier, to contact@devdatasphere.digital.

Refund process and method

We confirm eligibility in writing, then return approved amounts to the original payment method when possible. Processing typically takes ten to fifteen business days after approval, depending on banks.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may request to reschedule once without fee if you give at least seven days’ notice and we have available capacity within sixty days. Later notice or repeated reschedules may be treated as cancellation under the deposit rules. We will reschedule promptly if our analysts become unavailable.

No-shows

If client attendees miss a scheduled workshop or briefing without twenty-four hours’ notice, that session is considered delivered. A replacement session may be booked at an additional fee.

Work already started

Once we have begun reviewing your analytics exports or facilitating sessions, fees for that work remain due even if you later pause the project. We can archive partial findings for a fee agreed in writing.
